I first became interested in chiropractic while running cross-country in college. I injured my lower back in my freshman season, like I had done many times before. My coach suggested going to see our local chiropractor for my pain. After a couple visits, my lower back was pain-free and I’ve never had another low back injury. After helping with my lower back, I was fascinated by how the doctor worked using just his hands to heal people. I started to learn just how much chiropractic can do for the body besides just pain relief. I knew from that experience that I wanted to become a chiropractor.
Chiropractic Education
Upon graduation from Lake-Lehman High School in 2007, I attended Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania. While there, I majored in Health Science Pre-Professional to get myself ready for chiropractic school. In 2011 I attended New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY, finishing my studies in 2014. I am certified in RockTape Fascial Movement Taping, and Webster Technique for pregnant women. I have passed the national boards for chiropractic licensure.
